The Battle. The Irony.

Females' vs. Males'?
Why is it that a certain group of females strive for such command over males? They argue that females are not treated equally by society. A fair argument, though woman are considerably equal in western countries and have the same rights as men. In these parts of the world major Feminist groups like Feminist Campus are demanding for such small-scale materialistic rights. For example, a feminist group in America is demanding that the cost of the pill and other female contraceptives is lowered. Why should there be a priority on female contraceptives and not male contraceptives or other medication for males? Females are such victims. In this case, females are not the victim - the group is simply victimising them in order to gain unrealistic rights or privileges from greater society and/or the Government.
Meanwhile, the same feminist group is fighting in Africa for more plausible cases. Genital mutilation is used on female slaves within Africa for cultural reasons (non-medical). As an extreme punishment. The female endures severe pain for months after the initial slashing; usually preformed in a careless manner. This is something which can be agreed to be unjust. Though what I find infuriating is that this certain issue is highlighted above the other scandalous doings in Africa. Men are raped daily - young pre-adolescent boys endure sexual harassment and brutal physical abuse. No, don't worry males are tough; they can handle anything. Rather obtuse!
Yes, historically females were subject to a dense patriarchal society - they still are subject to a patriarchal society, though it is one which has been altered a great deal. Western societies are free and live with equal rights; in spite of this, there are under-lying unjustified happenings which females still face - E.g. the glass ceiling.
My stance - feminists are hypocrites who are proud and ignorant. They seemingly refuse to acknowledge struggles of the male sex and instead of working towards equality in society they are merely working (hoping) for a matriarchal society.
