Day #4, #5, #6, #7, #8, #9, #10

Through days 4-8 i was still noticing some minor break-outs but apparently this is what it is suppose to do. By day 9 my skin was noticeably clearing.

Today i have little minor blemishes and my skin is healing! I am happy with these results thus far.

Day #3

Today i noticed A LOT of the redness had gone. I don't know if it because i am ill/recovering or if it is Proactiv, but my complexion has become rather pale. My skin still feels smooth after application and through-out the day :)

peace.

Bypass? Can I pass?

I was doing my Literature homework and studying the text "Bypass - the story of a road". The title of the text speaks for itself. I was reading a particular chapter and noticed the author uses this whole chapter as a history lesson. It is bland and boring. The author, Michael McGirr, should have taken into consideration that this chapter is difficult to get through by the reader especially at the start of the book.

Though - when i look back at the entire book i realise this book is merely a history lesson about the Hume highway and the creation of towns in Victoria and New South Wales.

Peace.xox

Day #2

Today after application of the cleanser, toner, treatment and moisturiser my skin is again feeling soft. When i woke up this morning i noticed my skin was tighter and the redness of my blemishes had decreased.

Being Proactiv.

In my teen years I have found my skin to be subject to my moody and hormonal states. As you all probably know - we have our good skin days and our absolute horrible ones. At current, I am 18 years old, stressed out about trivial school issues (the work-load and things that are out of my control), not being able to see my close friends or boyfriend as much, my general health and every little challenge I am faced through-out the day. It was like they were suppressed and decided it was way too much for them to handle - so they exploded! On my face! Yes I have broken out; let me tell you it is horrible.

Over the previous weekend I visited my long-term-side-kick and best friend - Christina. She too has faced many break-outs over the years and informed me that a month ago she decided to invest in and try-out the acne solution - Proactiv. She was quick to state the result of using it for the past month - "It is amazing; the first week my skin just broke out but after that week it just improved and improved and i have not had a break-out since. My skin feels really nice". She also mentioned that although it is a solution which works - it drys out your skin. I fully understood what she was saying. Finally, she advised that i use it.

I considered it. Though a side of me was totally against it. If you are not aware I am a very strong believer of natural products/medicine. I detest western medicine. I believe it is made to make the consumer dependent on the product and therefore continuously buy the said product. Anyway - I was too curious and decided to 'invest' and try out the Proactiv treatment.

I bought the product from an Internet store a few days ago and promptly received it this morning. After much analysis of the warnings, ingredients and directions of use- I made a decision to only use the treatment once daily (at night)-even though it suggests 2 times daily. This decision was made because I feel my skin would become insanely dry -I have sensitive skin. This is another issue I faced before buying the product - my sensitive skin. However I have now taken the risk and I am prepared to see how my skin reacts with this product.

I will blog daily and comment on my skin and how the product affects it and If their are any visible results.

Day 1:
I was very cautious of how much product I applied to my face. After application my skin feels very smooth.

What is the...

time.

It is our ruler
We cannot escape it
We wish for it to hasten
At times for it to remain
slowly the four moods evolve
And the air seems much lighter
from the country we see
much brighter than rush
by the metro racing life
what is life without time

I did not intend this on being a poem...it just came out like this.
